PICO Island - Escola Regional de Artenasato de Santo Amaro

That's the place I'll be staying to work for the next month, learning the traditional craft from the island in order to make a contemporary personal version of it.

The 'Escola Regional de Artesanato de Santo Amaro' in Pico island, Açores, have been created by two twin sisters, Conceiçao & Alzira, preserving the traditions of the island.
Here is a few pictures of the museum in Santo Amaro, showing the old traditional way of leaving.
