YOSEMITE - Olmsted Point - Tenaya Lake - Tuolomne meadows - Lee Vining

Olmsted, Tenaya & Tuolomne
suite Yosemite
Olmsted Point, located in Yosemite National Park, is a viewing area off of the Tioga Road which offers a view into Tenaya Canyon. This view looks southwest into the valley, giving, in particular, a view of the northern side of Half Dome and a view of Tenaya Lake to the east.
Tenaya lake - Tenaya Lake is an alpine lake in Yosemite National Park, located between Yosemite Valley and Tuolumne Meadows. The surface of Tenaya Lake has an elevation of 8,150 feet (2,484 m). The lake basin was formed by glacial action, which left a backdrop of light granite rocks, whose beauty was known to the Native Americans. Today, Tenaya Lake is easily accessible by road and is a popular lake for water activities.
Tuolomne meadows - Dernière randonnée avant de sortir de Yosemite : marche dans les prairies qui nous amène à des rivières isolées et magiques.
Tuolumne Meadows is a gentle, dome-studded sub-alpine meadowy section of the Tuolumne River, in the eastern section of Yosemite National Park. Its approximate location is 37°52.5′N 119°21′W. Its approximate elevation is 8619 feet (2627 m).
